All our cars are new and unlike many of the rental car companies on the island, we provide full comprehensive insurance with NO excess. The usual custom is to insure for third party only and charge the customer anything up to ?300 for the excess. At Carefree, we opted to put the customers needs first so that they would drive with peace of mind rather than cut corners for our own financial gain.

We have a range of vehicles on offer. You can choose a Ford Focus 1600 hatchback or saloon, manual or automatic. Also available is the Opel Meriva 1600 and Aveo Chevrolet 1400 hatchback or Opel Corsa 1200 twin cam 12 valve. The Opel cars are both manual and easytronic. All our cars are fully air-conditioned with electric windows and side mirrors, ABS braking system, central locking and are fully alarmed. You can also hire a Suzuki Vitara 1900 turbo diesel soft top or a Jimny 1300 petrol soft top. For those of you who prefer the wind on your face, why not hire a 50cc Typhoon Piaggio scooter. Once you have rented a car, we require you to inspect the vehicle with us and ask you to sign a Vehicle Condition Report. This report is very important for you and us. It absolves you of responsibility for potential pre-existing faults or damages on return of the vehicle and it ensures that our vehicles are thoroughly inspected all the time.

In addition, Carefree allows you to drive with unlimited mileage so it doesn't matter how many miles you put on the clock.

For our customers with young families, child car seats are provided free of charge, subject to availability.
